A barely noticeable facial reddening occurs on the day of treatment, followed by a minimal peeling effect on the following day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Medium-deep peelings are carried out with 15% to 25% trichloroacetic acid (TCA). Mature skin is rejuvenated with this method. Fine wrinkles, superficial pigment spots and mild structural changes such as orange peel skin are effectively treated in one session. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deep peelings are indicated for advanced skin aging (actinic elastosis and deeper pigment shifts). Using TCA 35% resp. Vertical upper lip folds (smoker lines) or annoying lower eyelid wrinkles can be effectively and permanently smoothed with phenol. If the whole face is treated with this method, an amazing lifting effect can be achieved.
